E-Marketing: An inbox full of puppy-dog eyes, pleading for a one-click purchase.

One thing I have really noticed recently is a huge increase in targeted email marketing.  From architecture-related suppliers.  Which means they have a List.

Emails for everything and from all over the world.  From the orthographically-challenged Far-Eastern CAD outsourcers, via local suppliers of personalised Christmas gifts, to major globals like Adobe and AutoCAD.

It seems like every company on the planet is investing in sending out really quite high quality mailshots to potential buyers, linked to shiny new websites.  An inbox full of puppy-dog eyes, pleading for a one-click purchase.

Perhaps email advertising via lists is a recession-proof business?
